The folks at SharpBrains put together a varied collection of brain challenges which have a neuroscience theme. Here is how they describe this list:
It is always good to stimulate our minds and to learn a bit about how our brains work. Here you have a selection of the 50 Brain Teasers that people have enjoyed the most in our blog and speaking engagements.
The first of the 50 is a flash version Stroop Color Test of mental agility which shows you a cube and asks you to, "say aloud what color you see in every word, NOT the word you read.."
Its a lot harder than it looks. The square to the right is what it looks like but not the test itself. You have to visit SharperBrains.
I posted about SharpBrains back in March.. They are proponents of the idea of Brain Gyms for aging baby boomers (such as myself). They recommend the use of the Windows software program MindFit which I also posted about in March.
