After you have been sitting for a long time in front of the computer day-after-day like I do, your back and fingers and arms get stiff and even start to ache. Well earlier this year, I discovered a site called FreeRub.
FreeRub is a web community of people who like to give and get massages. So instead of going out and paying $75 for an hour massage, you can make arrangements to meet up with someone who will exchange massages with you. Best of all , you can join for free.
FreeRub is like a lot of social software, you create a profile and match with people in your area. I live in Las Vegas and there are 56 people within 40 miles of my house who will exchange a massage. when I first signed up, I was lucky enough to find someone with really "good hands" and have been exchanging massages once or twice a month since. You can request that your matches be of a specific age range or sex, have a picture or even have formal massage training.
So FreeRub is a good place to get a free rub.
