I was lucky today and found Virtual Hypnotist a free, open source, interactive hypnosis program while searching the web. It includes features such as voice recognition, speech synthesis, subliminal messages, completely customizable scripts (using a unique scripting language), videos, audio, and lots more. Its purpose is to simulate a real hypnosis session as much as possible.
The program works amazingly well when you install it right. The trick is to install all the various parts. First you need to download Virtual Hypnotist 4.61 Then you need to install the Virtual Hypnotist 4.61 Upgrade Next download and install Videos and Characters Expansion Pack and then Speech System from Microsoft – Agent, Engines and Recognition. A lot of people (including myself) need a Visual Basic Run-time and although he recommends one version, the most recent version can be downloaded here.
Once it is all installed, you might want to try upgrading to his most recent version Version 5.0 Beta14 which seems to work the best for me. The software — once all installed — is amazingly effective and I recommend highly recommend it.
