Paul Bolten on Slate writes "Finders Keepers" Five new programs that let you search your hard drive without having a seizure." He reviews new free desktop search tools from Google, Ask Jeeves, HotBot, and MSN and compares them with Copernic Desktop Search which is developing a new desktop search for AOL (America Online).
Bolten looks at the interface, best features and worst features of each search solution and grades them with reportcard letters. His conclusion is that Copernic Desktop Search is the only one that rates an A.
I use Copernic Agent Professional for my web searching so I can understand why Copernic Desktop Search is rated so highly.
